Over deze retreat

De tekst van deze retreat is nog niet vertaald en staat daarom in het Engels.

Experience a unique journey through the Andes, combining time in Cusco, an authentic visit to the remote Q’eros community, traditional Andean ceremonies, and a Wachuma plant medicine ceremony in the Sacred Valley. Your journey begins in Cusco, where you will have time to acclimatize to the altitude before meeting a Q’eros Maestro at the Moon Temple. Here, you will learn about the significance of the sacred site and take part in a traditional blessing ceremony while setting your personal intentions for the journey ahead. From Cusco, we travel deep into the Andes to the Q’eros community in the province of Paucartambo. Far from the usual tourist routes, you will spend time with local families and Q’eros Maestros, experiencing their traditional way of life and learning about their Andean worldview. During your stay, you will participate in traditional ceremonies, including a Coca Leaf reading, energetic cleansing, flowering, and a gratitude offering to Pachamama. The Q’eros experience also includes time in the surrounding high mountains. Depending on weather conditions and your preferences, we can take a hike through the landscape and visit a peaceful location near a river, where the Maestro will lead a traditional cleansing ceremony. After your time in Q’eros, we continue to the Sacred Valley and the town of Urubamba. Here, you will have time to rest and enjoy the natural surroundings before taking part in a traditional Wachuma ceremony. Accompanied by an experienced shamanic practitioner and translator, the ceremony takes place in a natural setting surrounded by the Sacred Mountains. Throughout the journey, we aim to create a respectful and authentic experience centered on direct connections with local practitioners, Andean traditions, nature, and community. The itinerary also leaves room for flexibility, allowing the experience in Q’eros to unfold naturally according to local circumstances, weather, and your needs. The journey ends in Urubamba, where we will transfer you to the airport for your onward flight.
