This eight-day guided cycling holiday explores the Mekong Delta from Ho Chi Minh City, looping through riverside villages, floating markets, and Khmer pagodas before returning to the city. It suits intermediate riders comfortable covering 25 to 110 kilometres on paved country roads over five riding days, with a rest day built in at Can Tho. The route covers roughly 348 kilometres total, winding through coconut-palm groves near Ben Tre, past the Cai Be and Cai Rang floating markets, and along narrow paved roads where morning traders sell tropical fruit from boats. Riders visit the Ang Pagoda, meet Khmer monks near Tieu Can, and stop at the Ba Chuc memorial, where over 3,000 Vietnamese were killed during Pol Pot's regime in 1978. A support vehicle, mechanic, and backup bike escort the group from day two through day eight, so mechanical issues or fatigue never mean being stranded. English-speaking cycling guides lead every ride, and two bottles of water plus light snacks are provided on riding days.
