No. We never add a per-booking surcharge on top of the retreat leader's rate, and we don't charge you for using the site. Our costs are covered by a commission the retreat leader agrees to, not by a fee passed on to you. Your final total depends on the package, dates and room you choose, and the retreat leader confirms it before you pay anything.

Each retreat leader sets their own cancellation terms, because they plan space, food and staff around confirmed guests. When the leader has written them, they are on the retreat page under Cancellation & policies, and either way they are confirmed with you before you pay anything. RetreatBird adds no cancellation window of its own on top of them. The cancellation page lists the questions worth asking before you pay.

We build out listings for well-regarded retreats and invite the people who run them to take ownership. Your invitation includes a private link and a short PIN. Entering them lets you preview the listing we've prepared, correct anything, and claim it as yours — nothing goes live under your name without your say-so.
