Cancellations & refunds questions
What is the cancellation policy?
Each retreat sets its own cancellation window because retreat leaders plan space, food, and staff around confirmed guests. The exact deadlines and any non-refundable portion are listed on the retreat page and repeated on the booking screen, so review them before you confirm. Our general approach is summarised on the cancellation page.
How do I cancel a booking?
If you have an account, open the trip and use the cancel option there. If you booked as a guest, reply to your confirmation email or reach us through the contact page with your booking reference and we'll process it for you.
When will I get my refund?
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Once the retreat leader confirms the cancellation it usually takes a few business days for the amount to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
Can I change my dates instead of cancelling?
Often, yes. Many retreat leaders will happily move you to another available date if you ask early enough. Send the request through your trip or the contact page and we'll check availability with the retreat leader before anything is changed.
What happens if the retreat leader cancels?
If a retreat leader has to call off a retreat, you're entitled to a full refund of what you paid through RetreatBird. We'll let you know as soon as we can and, where possible, suggest similar retreats on comparable dates.
