Planning your trip questions
How do I get to the retreat?
Every listing notes its location and, where the retreat leader has provided it, the nearest airport and transfer options. After booking you'll get directions and any pickup details from the retreat leader. If something is unclear, message them — they know the route better than anyone.
Do I need a visa?
Visa rules depend on your nationality and the country you're visiting, not on the booking itself. Check the official guidance for your destination well ahead of time, and give yourself room for processing. The retreat page lists the country so you know exactly where you're headed.
Can retreats accommodate dietary needs?
Most retreats that include meals can cater to common dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free, and many specialise in wholesome cooking already. Tell the retreat leader about allergies or restrictions when you book so they can prepare properly.
What should I pack?
Pack for the climate and the activities — comfortable layers, anything you need for sessions like yoga or hiking, and any personal items you rely on. Many listings include a guidance section, and your retreat leader can confirm whether things like mats, towels, or equipment are provided.
Is travel insurance required?
We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical care, and your activities, even when it isn't formally required. It protects you if plans change for reasons outside anyone's control.
