RetreatBird is an online marketplace that connects travelers with independent retreat leaders. We provide the platform; the retreats themselves are operated by the retreat leaders who list them.

You agree to use RetreatBird only for lawful purposes and not to misuse listings, reviews, or retreat-leader contact details. You are responsible for any activity that happens under your account.

When you book, you enter into an agreement directly with the retreat leader. RetreatBird charges no booking fee to travelers. Deposits may be held until your retreat begins, with the balance payable to the retreat leader.

Retreat leaders are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. We review listings before they go live but do not guarantee that every detail is current. If something looks wrong, please let us know.

RetreatBird is not the operator of any retreat and is not liable for the experiences retreat leaders provide. To the extent permitted by law, the platform is offered on an “as is” basis.

When you claim, create, or publish a listing as a retreat leader, you confirm that you operate — or are authorised to represent — the retreat, and that every detail you provide is accurate and kept up to date.

You warrant that you own, or hold all necessary rights, licences, and permissions to use, all content in your listing — including every photograph and image. You will not upload images you do not have the right to use. You grant RetreatBird a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display that content on the platform and in related marketing.

You accept full responsibility and liability for your listing, its content, and the retreats you operate, and you agree to indemnify and hold RetreatBird harmless against any claim, loss, or cost — including image, copyright, or intellectual-property claims, and claims arising from the retreat itself — that results from your content or your operation of the retreat.

Before you claim, we do not publish your photos publicly. Any claim preview we show you is a blurred, low-resolution version for identification only — so you can recognise your retreat — and we store only that derivative, never your original images, until you claim.

When you claim, you confirm that the listing images are yours (or you upload your own), and you grant RetreatBird a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (including resizing and optimising), publish, and display that content to operate, market, and promote the platform and your listing — for as long as it is on the platform, plus a reasonable backup and legal-retention period.

You represent and warrant that you own or are licensed to use all content you confirm or upload, including every image, that it infringes no third-party rights, and that you hold any necessary releases for people or property shown. Images you reject, and images on listings that are never claimed, are deleted. You indemnify RetreatBird against claims arising from your content.
