About this retreat

Nestled along the Adriatic coast in Misano Adriatico, this five-day beach yoga holiday in Italy is designed for anyone who needs to slow down, reconnect with their body, and trade daily pressures for open sky and sea air. Each day is structured around yoga practice that gradually builds strength and flexibility while encouraging a quieter, clearer state of mind. The programme is thoughtful rather than intense — it gives you the tools to understand how yoga can support your wellbeing long after you've returned home, without overwhelming beginners or leaving more experienced practitioners unstimulated. The setting does a great deal of the work. Misano Adriatico sits in the Province of Rimini, a stretch of the Italian Riviera where sandy beaches meet a relaxed, unhurried pace of life. Having the coast within reach adds a natural dimension to the retreat experience that a landlocked venue simply cannot offer. Five days is the standard stay, but the organisers are flexible — shorter three-day visits and longer programmes of up to two weeks are available on request, so you can tailor the length to your schedule rather than squeeze yourself into a fixed window. Whether you are stepping onto a mat for the first time or returning to a practice that has slipped away, this yoga retreat on Italy's Adriatic coast offers a grounded, restorative escape that balances movement, rest, and genuine time for yourself.

Accommodation & Room Options To welcome our guests in the best possible way during our yoga retreats and teacher training programs, we collaborate with Hoy Hotels, a hotel group in Misano Adriatico with six partner hotels available throughout the season: Hotel Ariston, Hotel Arno, Hotel Hawaii, Hotel Silvia, Hotel Ivana, and Hotel Baltic. This collaboration allows us to offer comfortable accommodation solutions in different periods of the year, while maintaining the same welcoming atmosphere, excellent location, and easy access to the beach, town centre, and all YogaMea activities. Our Main Hotels During the Season Hotel Ariston – Spring & Autumn Stay From Easter until approximately May 10th, and again from September 10th until the end of the season — which usually falls around the end of October or the first days of November, depending on the weekends and the calendar — our main accommodation is Hotel Ariston. Hotel Ariston is located in the centre of Misano Adriatico and is the only hotel in the group open all year round. It is our preferred accommodation during the quieter parts of the season, offering a convenient and comfortable stay close to the sea, the train station, shops, cafés, and all local services. Hotel Arno – Summer Stay From approximately May 10th until September 10th, our accommodation moves to Hotel Arno, where we stay throughout the main summer season — including May, June, July, August, and the first part of September. At the end of the summer period, we usually return to Hotel Ariston for the final retreats and trainings of the season. Hotel Ariston Rooms Hotel Ariston offers a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, ideal for both yoga retreats and yoga teacher training courses. The hotel is centrally located in Misano Adriatico and is a practical choice for guests who appreciate being close to everything while still enjoying a relaxed stay. The rooms at Hotel Ariston are bright, comfortable, and functional, designed to provide a pleasant and peaceful environment during your stay. They are suitable both for short retreats and for longer residential trainings. Available room options at Hotel Ariston: Single Room Double Room Double Room for Single Use Guests are welcome to book a single room if they prefer privacy, or a double room for single use if they would like more space and comfort. Double rooms can also be booked by: couples friends travelling together participants wishing to share accommodation If you would like to stay in a shared room, we will be happy to provide the price personally upon request, depending on the season, room type, and availability. Hotel Arno Rooms During the summer months, we usually host our guests at Hotel Arno, a comfortable hotel located just a short walk from the beach, in one of the most pleasant areas of Misano Adriatico for enjoying the seaside atmosphere. The rooms at Hotel Arno are simple, comfortable, and well suited for a relaxing stay during the warmer months. It is a lovely option for those who wish to combine their yoga experience with the vibrant summer energy of the coast, while still enjoying a peaceful and welcoming environment. Available room options at Hotel Arno: Single Room Double Room Double Room for Single Use Shared Room on request As with Hotel Ariston, guests may choose the accommodation option that best suits their needs, whether they are travelling alone, as a couple, or with a friend. Room Types & Booking Options For our retreats and yoga teacher training programs, we offer different accommodation options depending on the season and hotel availability. You may choose between: Single Room Double Room for Single Use Double Room Shared Room upon request All guests are free to book a single room if they prefer a private space. A double room for single use is also available for those who would like the comfort of a larger room while staying alone. Double rooms can be reserved by couples, friends, or participants wishing to share. If you are interested in shared accommodation, we will provide the rate personally and individually, according to the period and room availability. All-Inclusive Pricing All prices shown for our retreats and teacher training programs are intended as all-inclusive, meaning they include everything specified in the package description. The final rate depends on the room option selected: Single Room Double Room for Single Use Double Room Shared Room If you wish to share a room with another participant, a friend, or your partner, we will be happy to provide a personal quotation based on your preferred dates and accommodation arrangement. Other Hotels Available on Request In addition to Hotel Ariston and Hotel Arno, which are our main accommodation hotels, we may also arrange stays in other hotels within the same group, depending on availability and guest preferences. Other hotels in the Hoy Hotels group include: Hotel Hawaii Hotel Silvia Hotel Ivana Hotel Baltic These options may be considered in case of specific requests, room availability, or special accommodation needs. Our collaboration with the hotel group allows us to offer flexible solutions while keeping all guests within the same welcoming hospitality network in Misano Adriatico. Short version for website use If you want, I can now also prepare a much better website-ready version, more refined and more “luxury retreat / international yoga school” style, for example with sections like: Where You Will Stay Comfortable Accommodation in Misano Adriatico Single, Double & Shared Rooms Hotel Ariston & Hotel Arno Seasonal Accommodation for Retreats and Teacher Trainings Shared Room Policy Please note that shared rooms cannot be booked individually by solo travellers. A shared room option is available only for guests travelling together, such as: couples friends small groups of 3 or 4 people participants booking together in advance This means that if you are travelling alone, you will not be able to select a shared room as an individual accommodation option. In that case, you may choose between a Single Room or a Double Room for Single Use. If you are travelling with a partner, a friend, or a group and would like to stay together, we will be happy to provide a personal quotation based on the room type, number of guests, and travel period.

Food

Nourishing Food & Mediterranean Dining Experience At YogaMea, food is an essential part of the retreat experience. We offer a healthy and enjoyable dining concept inspired by Italian Mediterranean cuisine, combining freshness, balance, flavour, and quality ingredients. Thanks to our collaboration with the Hoy Hotel group, our guests can enjoy meals in different settings, including the hotel restaurant, the beach restaurant, and selected restaurants within the same hotel collection. This gives each stay a richer and more varied culinary experience, with the possibility to enjoy different atmospheres while maintaining the same quality standard. Our cuisine is naturally focused on wellbeing and is especially suited to a yoga lifestyle. We offer a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes, with plenty of fresh vegetables, wholesome ingredients, and light Mediterranean recipes designed to support energy, digestion, and overall balance. We also pay special attention to different dietary needs. Gluten-free meals for celiac guests and other food sensitivities can be provided with care, so that every guest can enjoy their meals in comfort and with peace of mind. For those who prefer a more varied menu, fish and meat options are also available, always as a choice and never as an obligation. In this way, every guest can follow their own dietary preference while still enjoying the healthy, mindful, and welcoming food philosophy of YogaMea. At YogaMea, we see food as part of the practice: nourishing, grounding, pleasurable, and shared — an experience that reflects the beauty of Italian hospitality and the conscious lifestyle of yoga.

How to Reach Misano Adriatico Reaching YogaMea in Misano Adriatico is simple and comfortable, whether you are travelling from Italy or from abroad. Our retreat and teacher training locations are based in **Misano Adriatico**, on the Adriatic coast of Italy, and depending on the season and the programme, you will be welcomed either at **Via Gannunzi 3** or **Via Sicilia 42**. Once your booking is confirmed, we will always provide you with the exact arrival address and the most convenient travel instructions for your stay. ### By Plane For international guests, the most convenient airports are: * **Rimini Federico Fellini International Airport** – the closest airport to Misano Adriatico, approximately **15–20 minutes by car** * **Ancona Raffaello Sanzio Airport** – approximately **1 hour by car** * **Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport** – the **most frequently used airport by our international guests**, thanks to its wider range of international connections and flight availability If you are flying from abroad, **Bologna Airport is usually the best option**, especially for guests arriving from major European cities. From all three airports, Misano Adriatico can be reached by **private transfer, taxi, rental car, or train**. ### From the Airport to Misano Adriatico #### From Bologna Airport Bologna is the easiest and most common arrival point for our students and retreat guests. From the airport, you can take the **Marconi Express** to **Bologna Centrale railway station**, and from there continue by train towards **Rimini / Ancona**, getting off at **Misano Adriatico**. If you prefer a smoother and more comfortable arrival after a flight, we usually recommend a **private transfer** or a **rental car**, especially if you are travelling with luggage or arriving in the evening. #### From Rimini Airport Rimini Airport is the closest airport to our venue and the most convenient option when direct flights are available. From the airport, you can reach Misano Adriatico by **taxi, private transfer, or rental car** in a short time. It is also possible to travel first to **Rimini railway station** and then continue by train to **Misano Adriatico**. #### From Ancona Airport From Ancona Airport, Misano Adriatico can be reached by **private transfer, taxi, rental car, or train connection** northbound along the Adriatic railway line. This is a good option for some international routes, although it is generally less practical than Bologna. ### By Train Misano Adriatico has its own railway station on the **Bologna–Ancona line**, making train travel a convenient option for guests arriving from other Italian cities or from the airports via central stations. The station is **Misano Adriatico**, and from there our locations can be reached easily by **taxi** or, depending on the accommodation assigned and the season, sometimes even on foot. For guests arriving through **Bologna**, the easiest route is: **Bologna Airport → Bologna Centrale → Train to Misano Adriatico** For guests arriving through **Rimini Airport**, the route is usually: **Rimini Airport → Rimini Station → Train to Misano Adriatico** If needed, we are happy to advise you on the easiest train option according to your arrival time. ### By Car If you prefer the flexibility of travelling independently, Misano Adriatico is easy to reach by car via the **A14 motorway**. Depending on your direction of travel, the most convenient exits are generally **Riccione** or **Cattolica / San Giovanni / Gabicce**. From there, Misano Adriatico is only a short drive away. A rental car can be a very good option if you would like to explore the surrounding area during your stay, including **Riccione, Rimini, Cattolica, San Marino**, and the beautiful countryside of Romagna and Le Marche. ### Private Transfer For guests arriving from abroad, especially after a long flight, the most comfortable solution is often a **private transfer directly to YogaMea**. This option allows you to arrive at the retreat venue without worrying about train schedules, connections, or carrying luggage between stations. We can help you organise the most suitable transfer option according to: * your arrival airport * your landing time * the season of your stay * your assigned accommodation address ### Our Recommendation For most international guests, we recommend the following: * **Best overall airport:** **Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport** * **Closest airport:** **Rimini Federico Fellini Airport** * **Most comfortable arrival option:** **private transfer from the airport to Misano Adriatico** * **Best budget-friendly option:** **train to Misano Adriatico station** If you send us your flight details after booking, we will be happy to help you choose the easiest and most comfortable way to reach YogaMea.

About the retreat leader

E-RYT 500 YACEP Timea Vitez
E-RYT 500 YACEP Timea Vitez

Timea Vitez – Lead Yoga Teacher Biography Timea Vitez is the co-founder and lead teacher of YogaMea School, an international yoga school based in Misano Adriatico, Italy, with training programs and retreats also connected to Rishikesh, India. She is a registered yoga teacher at E-RYT 500 level and a YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider), with over 30 years of personal yoga experience and more than 20 years of teaching and teacher training experience according to YogaMea’s current course materials and retreat listings. Born in Budapest on 7 April 1975, Timea later moved to Italy, where she developed her teaching activity and co-founded YogaMea together with Davide Bedetti. Her journey into yoga began after a serious car accident that caused significant cervical spine injuries. She has publicly described yoga as the discipline that helped her recover physically and transformed her life path, becoming the starting point of a lifelong dedication to practice, study, and teaching. After discovering yoga through self-practice, Timea travelled to Rishikesh, India, where she attended her first 200-hour yoga teacher training at Rishikesh Yog Peeth. She later returned to India many times to deepen her studies and refine her teaching through repeated immersion in traditional yoga education. Over the years, this connection with India became central to her method and to the identity of YogaMea School, which presents itself as a bridge between the traditional roots of Indian yoga and residential teacher training in Italy. Today, Timea is presented by YogaMea as the school’s lead yoga teacher and one of the core figures behind its teacher training programs. She teaches Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, meditation, pranayama, anatomy, philosophy, and traditional yogic practices, with a style shaped by long-term study in India and extensive experience guiding both beginners and future teachers. YogaMea’s materials also describe her as personally involved in following students throughout the training process, combining technical instruction with close mentorship and practical teaching experience. Together with Davide, she founded YogaMea School in 2013 and helped grow it into a school offering 50, 100, 200, 300 and 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training courses, as well as yoga retreats and meditation programs in Italy and India. Public profiles and retreat pages describe YogaMea as a school rooted in a “back to basics” approach, focused on authentic practice, real teaching experience, and a strong connection to the spiritual tradition of India. Her teaching reputation is reinforced by testimonials published on YogaMea platforms and retreat portals, where students describe her as knowledgeable, patient, careful, professional, and deeply experienced. YogaMea’s course pages position her not only as a senior teacher, but as the person who transmits the school’s core vision: a form of yoga education that combines traditional Hatha and Ashtanga roots, modern teacher training standards, and a strong emphasis on personal transformation through disciplined practice.

Airport transfer
Airport Transfer by Public Transport or Taxi If you prefer to reach YogaMea by public transport, it is possible to travel easily from Rimini Airport to Misano Adriatico. From the airport, you can take a local bus to Riccione railway station. From Riccione, we usually recommend taking a local train to Misano Adriatico, as this is often easier and more convenient than waiting for another bus connection. The train ride takes only around 5 minutes. Once you arrive at Misano Adriatico train station, our school / hotel can be reached on foot in approximately 15 minutes (around 950 metres), depending on your assigned accommodation and the season. If you prefer a more direct option, you can also take a taxi from Rimini Airport to Misano Adriatico. Please note that, due to rising transport and fuel costs, the average taxi fare is currently around €50 one way. As a more affordable and friendly alternative, we may also be able to help arrange a private transfer through one of our trusted local contacts. In this case, a smaller contribution would simply be paid directly to the person collecting you, usually at a lower cost than a standard taxi. If you would like this option, just let us know in advance and we will do our best to help.
Visa
Visa Information for Non-EU Guests If you are travelling to Italy from outside the European Union, visa requirements depend on your nationality, the purpose of your stay, and the length of your visit. For short stays of up to 90 days for tourism, retreats, holidays, or yoga training, many non-EU citizens can enter Italy with a Schengen short-stay visa (Type C), while some nationalities may be visa-exempt for stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. We strongly recommend checking your specific visa requirements well in advance through the official Italian visa portal or the Italian Embassy / Consulate in your country of residence. In general, non-EU travellers entering Italy should make sure they have: a passport valid for at least 3 months beyond the planned date of departure from the Schengen Area; any required visa for Italy / the Schengen Area; proof of accommodation for the duration of the stay; a return or onward travel ticket; travel or medical insurance, if required; and evidence of sufficient financial means for the stay. If your stay in Italy will be longer than 90 days, or if you are travelling for a purpose other than tourism, different visa rules may apply and you may need to apply for a long-stay national visa. As visa rules can change depending on your country of citizenship, we always recommend checking the latest official information before booking your trip.

The effective cancellation date shall be the date on which the written cancellation request is received by the school. Can I cancel my booking?

Cancellation Policy Retreats and Yoga Teacher Training Courses To secure a place in any of our retreats, trainings, or events, a non-refundable deposit equal to 20% of the total program fee is required at the time of booking. 1. Deposit The 20% deposit is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellation by the participant for personal reasons, travel issues, illness, change of plans, or any other reason. This deposit is retained to cover administrative, booking, organizational, and reservation costs incurred by the school. 2. Balance Payment The remaining balance must be paid according to the payment schedule communicated at the time of booking. 3. Cancellation by the Participant If the participant cancels their booking after paying the deposit: the 20% deposit will not be refunded; any additional refund of sums paid beyond the deposit will be evaluated in accordance with the timing of the cancellation and the specific conditions of the booked program, if applicable. 4. Transfer of Booking At the sole discretion of the school, and depending on the specific program, a booking may be transferred to another retreat, training, or future date. Any transfer request must be made in writing and is not guaranteed. Administrative fees or price adjustments may apply. 5. No-Show / Early Departure No refund, credit, or transfer will be granted in the event of: late arrival, no-show, voluntary withdrawal from the program, early departure for any reason. 6. Cancellation by the School In the unlikely event that the school must cancel a retreat or teacher training due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered either: a transfer of the amount paid to a future program, or a refund of the amounts paid, excluding any third-party expenses already incurred by the participant, such as flights, visas, insurance, bank charges, or other travel-related costs, unless otherwise required by law. 7. Force Majeure The school shall not be held liable for cancellations, changes, delays, or inability to perform the program due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, governmental restrictions, strikes, war, civil unrest, weather conditions, transport disruptions, or similar force majeure events. In such cases, refunds, credits, or transfers will be considered at the school’s discretion and in accordance with applicable law. 8. Acceptance of Policy By paying the deposit and confirming the booking, the participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted this Cancellation Policy in full. Versione un po’ più forte / più “blindata” Se vuoi tutelarti di più, io metterei questa frase al punto 3: If the participant cancels the booking, the 20% deposit shall in all cases be retained by the school as a non-refundable booking and administrative fee. e magari anche questa: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email. The effective cancellation date shall be the date on which the written cancellation request is received by the school.
