About this retreat
Why this retreat
Small groups are at the heart of our approach. With typically around eight participants and approximately one facilitator for every four participants, there is space for personal attention while still benefiting from the connection of a shared group experience. Rather than focusing only on the psilocybin ceremony, the retreat is structured as a complete three-day journey. Microdosing, breathwork, nature immersion, the full-dose ceremony and integration practices each have a purpose in helping you prepare, explore and integrate. Preparation begins before you arrive, and integration continues beyond the retreat. This structured approach, together with our experienced facilitation team, is what defines the Elevated Mind Retreats experience.

Accommodation
Accommodation is included for two nights at our retreat location in the peaceful Dutch countryside. Rooms are comfortable and all have private en-suite bathroom facilities. Shared rooms accommodate two to three participants. Private single rooms and private rooms for two are also available, subject to availability. The retreat location offers both indoor and outdoor spaces to rest, reflect and connect throughout the weekend.

Food
Fresh, nourishing meals are prepared throughout the retreat, creating time to slow down, connect and enjoy eating together. Meals are included and dietary requirements can be accommodated when communicated in advance.

The retreat takes place in Almkerk in the Netherlands, approximately 12–15 minutes by car from Gorinchem railway station. International participants can travel by train from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to Gorinchem. From Gorinchem, the retreat location can be reached by taxi. Approximately two weeks before the retreat, we open a WhatsApp group where participants can connect and coordinate travel or ridesharing with others arriving at similar times. Full arrival information is provided before the retreat.
About the retreat leader
Founder of Elevated Mind Retreats, Niels guides participants through preparation, ceremony and integration. His own experience with psilocybin during burnout inspired the creation of the retreats and continues to shape their philosophy today. As a Certified Breathwork Facilitator, he focuses on creating a safe, grounded environment where participants can explore meaningful and lasting change.

A €45 administration fee applies.
