The kind of brief that gets a precise answer:

  • A 4–8 week residency for 6 founders near water, with Wi-Fi fast enough to work online all day
  • A week-long yoga retreat for 14, a shala for the whole group and a kitchen that cooks for everyone
  • A two-day workshop for 30: one big room, quiet surroundings, catering on site
  • A company offsite for 40, every room on one property, within reach of an airport

Whole houses, retreat centres, farms, lodges, villas with a studio, places with desks and fast internet: say what the days look like and we look for the place that fits them. Somewhere we do not list yet is fine. We go and ask.

Questions organisers ask

What does it cost?

Nothing. Sending a brief is free, needs no account and commits you to nothing. There is no booking fee: you book the venue direct, at the venue's own price.

How does RetreatBird earn money then?

The venue pays us a commission on bookings we bring it. We add nothing to the venue's price.

Will every venue you send me actually be free?

Yes, for the dates you gave us. We ask each venue to confirm in writing that it is free and can take your group. A venue that has not confirmed is not on the list we send you.

Can you find somewhere for weeks or months?

Yes. Give the length of stay as a range if you like, from a few nights to several months, and we ask venues that take stays that long. Residencies, sabbaticals and coworking stays are all welcome.

My dates are flexible. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Tick “flexible” and give a season or a few months. A venue only goes on your list after it has confirmed in writing that it can host you on dates you've agreed with us.

Do I need to get on a call?

No. Everything happens by email: you send the brief, we reply with the venues that confirmed, and you book direct.

I run a venue. How do I get on the list?

List it on RetreatBird: listing is free, and we earn a commission only on bookings we bring you. The form is at the bottom of the venues page.
