About this retreat

This advanced 300-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training is built for certified 200-hour graduates who want to go deeper into traditional yogic philosophy, pranayama, and teaching methodology. Set within a bamboo eco-village surrounded by rice fields in Pejeng Village near Ubud, the program runs for 31 days and follows a structured daily schedule from early morning detox tea through evening self-meditation. Students explore Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Hatha yoga texts, anatomy, Ayurveda fundamentals, and hands-on asana and meditation labs. The curriculum balances academic study with intensive practice, including shuddhi kriyas, mantra work, and therapeutic sequencing. Accommodation ranges from private suites to shared bamboo rooms, all within two Balinese-style villas. The package is all-inclusive, covering meals, course materials, weekly sound baths, two Sunday excursions, and a complimentary three-day sound healing course that follows the training. Participants also take part in a Balinese water purification ritual and traditional fire ceremony, adding a cultural dimension to the experience. This is not a casual yoga holiday — it is a rigorous, authentic program for those committed to genuine self-transformation and teaching excellence.

Teaching Sound Healing Course

As the ninth generation of a family of traditional bone-setting healers, Simon has always been fascinated by the many ways people can heal—often finding these ancient methods more effective than modern Western medicine. After earning high distinction in his Bachelor of Psychology, he deepened his understanding of energy work by completing a Diploma in Energetic Health at Nature Care College, Australia’s leading holistic-healing institute since 1973. Simon later lived in India for over a year, spending time in Tibet, Nepal, and Bhutan, where he completed Levels I, II, and III of the Tibetan Singing Bowl Therapy and Sound Healing course in Rishikesh, as well as the Healing Through Sound Therapy training with Roshan Bahar of the International Academy of Sound Healing. He is also a Reiki Level II practitioner. For the past five years, Simon has been teaching Sound Bath classes and leading private Sound Healing sessions every week. His Introduction to Sound Healing workshops became highly popular in Sydney, and he has now evolved that experience into a comprehensive 3-day Sound Healing Course in Bali—empowering students to master the art of healing through Tibetan singing bowls with confidence and authenticity.
