About the venue
Awaken Sanctuary for Awareness sits in open countryside close to Pretoria, on grounds shaded by mature trees and crossed by brick paths. At its heart is a hacienda-style courtyard house with five bedrooms, and the venue sleeps up to 12, so a small group can stay on site from the first session to the last.
The space scales with your plans. Up to 50 guests can be seated for a workshop, a training day or a wedding dinner, and up to 300 can gather standing for a ceremony, a celebration or a big event. Seven spaces in all, among them the courtyard house, a lapa, the gardens and a camping ground, let a programme move between indoors and outdoors through the day.
It is a natural fit for small residential retreats, meetings, conferences, workshops and weddings that want room to breathe without leaving the Pretoria area. Catering is yours to choose: bring the caterer you trust, and set the menu and the budget your way.
