40 Day 500 Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in Dehradun, India

This 40-day, 500-hour advanced yoga teacher training in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, is built for dedicated practitioners and aspiring instructors who are ready to deepen their practice and teach at a professional level. Set in the foothills of the Himalayas, the program covers a broad spectrum of yogic disciplines. Students explore Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa Flow alongside pranayama and meditation, creating a well-rounded daily immersion. The curriculum also dives into yoga philosophy, anatomy, alignment, sequencing, and teaching methodology, giving participants both the physical and intellectual grounding needed to lead classes with confidence. Days are structured to balance intensive asana work with quieter contemplative practices, so the experience feels rigorous without becoming draining. Mornings typically begin with active practice, while afternoons and evenings shift toward study, discussion, and breath-focused sessions. Dehradun's calm, leafy setting makes it a fitting backdrop for an extended training. The city sits in a valley surrounded by hills, offering a quieter alternative to Rishikesh while still placing students in one of India's most storied yoga regions. Graduates leave with the advanced credentials and practical teaching tools to guide others on their own yogic paths, whether that means leading retreats, opening a studio, or simply sharing the practice with greater depth and clarity.
