14-Day 100-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Goa, India

The 100-hour course runs for 14 days in Benaulim, Goa, with teaching based at Villa Malibu. Mornings start with a short meditation and a beach walk, followed by a guided Hatha or Ashtanga class around seven. Later sessions cover pranayama, mantra, Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, and anatomy. Seva, or karma yoga, fills the gaps between meals, and each day ends with an evening walk and a self-practice of meditation. The Ayurveda side of the program includes daily dinacharya routines, lessons on the doshas, and cooking. Meals are sattvic vegetarian or vegan and served three times a day. A therapeutic yoga module looks at common issues such as stress and back pain, and students learn to build routines for different bodies. Classes are taught in English and German, and batches are kept small so that each student gets attention from the teachers. You can choose a twin sharing room, a private double room, or a wooden cabana. On completion you receive a 100-hour yoga teacher training certificate from an internationally recognised yoga organisation. The course only runs between November and March. To apply, send the online form, then pay a 30% deposit once accepted. The deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred, and it counts toward the total fee.
